Project Scope
Geostream Brazil was awarded a complex remediation project for an active industrial site in the State of São Paulo. The factory produces Abrasives, adhesive tapes, adhesives sponges, medical and dental products, materials for visual communication, solutions for filtration and safety equipments.
The project’s purpose was to reduce these concentrations in the unsaturated zone (soil). The Geostream’s task was related to the design, installation and maintenance of a SVE system, this project is attending fifteen (15) extraction wells of five (05) meters deep.
And also this system provides a heat exchanger, a condensate separator, two (02) blowers of 650 m³/h each and air ambient LEL sensor. While the treatment is done by three (03) activated carbon filters of 1000 kg each.
