Project Scope
Design, manufacturing, commissioning and maintenance of 9 DPE systems and 10 SVE systems.
The clean-up projects were part of an extensive project of requalification of the Priolo area (Sicily).
The site has been under investigation for many years.
The systems were positioned in the areas with major contamination; one of the main challenges was the geology of the site being formed by layers of fractured limestones and clays.
After 18 months the results were visible allowing the closing of a significant number of wells; after 24 months most of the areas were below the thresholds levels.
The remediation project was one of the largest requalification developments in Europe.
